Program overview

Four courses are provided by Beltin as a foundation to developing skills and knowledge of safe, advanced motor vehicle driving for hostile environments.

Self Drive, 2 days – the aim of this course is to provide awareness, skills and knowledge to those that self drive in environments of risk. This includes instruction and practical tuition in accident avoidance, defensive driving and driver attitude

Protective Driver, 5 days – the aim of this course is to provide those employed in Protective Driving duties with the knowledge and skills to function as Protective Drivers in fluid risk environments of varying and challenging environments domestically and internationally

Offensive Driver, 3 days (Government only) – (pre-requisite Protective Driver) the aim of this course is to provide those employed in Protective Driving duties with specialist offensive skills and knowledge to react and defeat actions of threat in fluid risk environments

Instructor Protective Driver – the aim of this course is to qualify those employed in Protection Instruction with trade specific certification as Protective Driving Instructors and continuation trainers

Course development is ongoing and in itself lends a value of currency and credibility to the program, industry feedback is very important - for this reason we encourage you to particpate in the knowledge centre.
